In April-May, GEMCO attended congresses in the USA – AFS Metalcasting Congress -, in Austria for ÖGI – 68. Österreichische Giessereitagung -, and recently in Germany on the occasion of Der Deutsche Gießereitag 2026. In the US and Austria Gemco held a presentation about the foundry as a system, a holistic approach.
Appreciation for the organizers and hosts of the events is certainly in order as well. Well done! Interesting events with noteworthy presentations, good discussions, and also time for pleasant conversations.
Although the industry faces challenges, it also offers opportunities, including the chance of success. That is encouraging; that is when ideas and innovations are born.
